Collection vs Individual Copyright

It was the part where they handed out the copyright notices to the jury, and
then stated for the jury that Oracle had copyrighted the APIs, and used the
copyrights Google is objecting to as being invalid.

Until they offered those into evidence, Google couldn't complain about them.
Now that Oracle has placed them into evidence, and stated in open court they're
the proof of Oracle's copyrights, they've painted themselves into a corner.

Don't beat yourself up. Law is hard. I have been coming here daily for years and I have still have only scratched the surface. If getting a law degree was easy lawyers wouldn't make what they do.
