Not everyone plays that way

There are those who would be raising true issues where appropriate. This - of course - would result in time loss, but that's of a natural course, not deliberately planned.

To "cost the other side time" would indicate such tactics as raising a concern where no concern exists.

So I disagree.... it's not "natural" that such a strategy would be employed.

Example outside the context of a Courtroom.

One strategy that is employeed by some people who visit auctions is to deliberately "bid up" a potential competitor so they spend more on an item to try and burn through their available funds so you could have a better chance of acquiring the particular item you want.

Personally, I find such a tactic utterly deplorable and personal refuse to enter such strategies.

No, your honor, it makes you look as beautiful as you are.

IANAL, but I watch actors play lawyers on high-definition television.
Thanks to our hosts and the legal experts that make Groklaw great.

Heh, my impression is that Oracle look like they will likely run out of time on
their own without help.

Well, if anything changes, Go!

Mirror_slap is plum tuckered out. We need to give
him a hand, where we can. Meaning, don't get fired
or go out of business. But maybe one vacation day?

It's a half day, 7:30 (groan, I know) until 1 PM.

That's an end-game tactic, we'll wait. :)
