But this is not true at all.
The creative part is the _way_ you abstract the textures and
the _way_ you load them, which is more efficient or better
suited for a specific need. The implementation of the actual
functions specified is quite trivial for an expert in the
field, which is akin to the patent law where you only need
to explain yourself far enough for an expert in the field,
not a layman.

In fact, a source code is akin to a patent which explains
how to do something specific to a layman. But, indeed,
patents are patentable even without such detail, that is,
when they only give enough detail to be useful to experts in
the field, which is akin to source code without the function
implementation details.
