Life + 70....

Average age for life expectancy? In Canada, it's apparently:

    Females: 83
    Males: 78.3
So unless you pass away when your kid is younger then about 13 years of age, even your children can expect to reap the rewards of your labor for their entire life.

It's crazy to award such monopoly protection. Nothing is that beneficially valuable that it deserves potentially 130 years of Monopoly protection. 130 years calculated as:

    20 years produce goods, pass on at 80, 60 + 70 = 130
Crazy!
