Most(?) of LG's collection, including touch screens with browsers and
a few scrawny apps, use a Java-based proprietary LG-OS.

I don't have a mobile phone of any sort and don't keep up with the technology,
much. Well, not unless it has rounded corners, of course.

I'm not challenging what you say, but what use do the feature phones make of
Java? I can see how navigation buttons would not be a pleasant way of getting
around anything complicated.
