US Government trying to deny Megaupload fair legal representation

A more suitable analogy would be a storage locker business.

The contents of each locker is owned by different individuals and is unknown to
the business owner. One locker is found to have stolen goods so the whole
business is closed down and all the lockers and everyone's contents destroyed.

Meanwhile the storage business's owner is charged with stealing property the
value of which is calculated by multiplying the number of lockers by the value
of one as if it had been completely filled with gold.
