The Feds got their copies of the data that they want. The MPAA and RIAA want
the data held so that they can find other potential pirates. MegaUpload wants
to pay for the servers, the Feds froze his assets so that they can't. The
hosting company just wants to be paid. The poor users just want their content.
The initial harm was done by the Feds at the request of the MPAA and RIAA, they
are the problem and should make the rest whole until there is proven guilt and a
punishment is determined.
