There's a new press release from SCO. On June 20th, SCO's CEO Darl McBride will tell the world about "a new investment program." I have no idea if this means the PIPE Fairy left more money under SCO's pillow or if the company has figured out a new way for us to give them money, but we'll find out together on Tuesday at 9 AM, Eastern. Because the invitation says that software developers should attend, I'm leaning to the latter, but if the company is relying on software developers to help them along, I have my doubts how well that is going to work out for them. But hey, whatever. Update: I've now been sent a copy of the invitation sent to one Groklaw member, and it calls the program a
"New Developer Investment Opportunity." The Who Should Attend paragraph reads like this: Software developers and members of the media and analyst community who cover SCO, development trends, and the development of mobile and wireless services and applications. So it appears you coders will be offered an opportunity to make big money working from home. I'm guessing Me Inc. again. Here's the press release.
