Another OPA Bill Filed in SCO's Bankruptcy |

Nobody objected to Ocean Park Advisors' bill for November, and they've now filed their bill for December, for a total bill of $22,530.50. $14,830.50, 46.8 hours' worth, is for "Analysis, Preparation and Execution of Restructuring Plan". Right. SCO is "restructuring".
And I'm the queen of Sheba. My favorite entry: "Call with SCO management re FY11 sales targets." Sales targets. Are they making this up? Do they have any salesmen any more, let alone any new business? When was the last time SCO had a new customer? Which year? The rest is all the insider-helpers calling each other and sending each other reports and meeting with "SCO management". And that would be... who, exactly, these days? I call this The Month of Dog-Paddling in Circles, Hoping Not to Reach the Shore.
There is also a motion to let King & McCleary do SCO's taxes for 2010, and they will charge SCO $15,000, plus out-of-pocket expenses. Hey, if they don't keep dragging this out, there's a risk SCO might have some money left over for creditors. Heaven forfend.
Here are the filings, and some certificates of no objection from Blank Rome:

[to PJ's remark on the M$ & H264 article]
Translated it comes out as "We've got a nice racket going in the video
format field and we don't appreciate intruders who don't join in and contribute
to our cause.[ Reply to This | # ]

It probably doesn't ring a bell for many people not intimately acquainted with
Los Angeles and in particular Santa Monica.
When I think Ocean Park, I think Santa Monica. As far as SCO is concerned when I
think Santa Monica, I think Kevin McBride.
No, I do not think Ocean Park and Kevin McBride are mere coincidence.

I've seen companies go into Chapter 11 in the past. I've seen them exit chapter
11. I've never seen anything like this.

Just got one this morning:
Text was the same as the press release we've seen with our friend Eric le Blan
commenting outside a courtroom.
Interesting - which one? Aren't most people's comments made outside courtrooms
and people who aren't paid to be there make all their comments outside
courtrooms? Besides which if Eric lives in West London it's a bit of a trip to
Delaware isn't it just to make a comment outside a courtroom there? Can't he
find a court or two in London to make comments outside?
Another interesting detail is that whilst unxis.co.uk is registered to Eric at
his West London address unxis.com is registered to a Korean company it seems.
They don't seem to be any better set up than last time IMNVHO.
