Friday, July 11 2008 @ 06:05 PM EDT

The bankruptcy hearing set for July 15 has been cancelled. That's the one about the moral yearning SCO feels to pay York some money. It's been moved to August 13 at 10 AM. I'd say that's one not to miss, whenever they have it.

Why do so very many hearings get canceled?

Why do so very many hearings get canceled?

It seems such a waste of time and and resources to schedule hearings only for
them to be canceled or rescheduled or re-rescheduled!

Not being a sun person this hearing was to be the highlight of a week at a
Delaware beach. What could be more fun than arguing about paying York? It
would be hard not to join in! Contentment will have to be the usual JP court
helping kin or their friends.

July 15th Bankruptcy Hearing on Paying York Reset for August 13

Exactly how many times can a matter be deferred? There must be some rule
somewhere about how many times a hearing for a specific thing can be deferred
for.

It'd be a waste of judicial economy to infinitely defer a specific matter, so I
would assume there would be some rule or clause somewhere for dealing with
this?

If not, then apparently SCO has found a way to keep their bankruptcy going
indefinitely.

One has to wonder if some of that "morality money" would be destined
for a Swiss account owned by McPride...
